Hand a visitor a clue instead of an address.

The destination is not printed. It unlocks on arrival.

Monoloci is the experience layer for real-world places. We turn a venue, a town or a whole region into an adventure people play on foot and by car. Because the reveal is gated on physically being there, every arrival is a fact rather than an estimate.

The whole product is three states

Every journey, whether explore, mystery or game, runs the same loop. It is the reason a stop on a Monoloci route behaves nothing like an entry in a directory.

A clue, never a destination

A cryptic line and a start point, not an address. Four to eight hidden waypoints on a walking or driving route.

The Whale Road Fleurieu Tour journey profile: the route description, a figure rail reading 7 locations and 37 km, and a panel headed Your First Clue above a Start your mystery journey button.

Arrival is the key

GPS proximity, or a QR scan at the counter, unlocks the next reveal. Hints intensify on approach and the route draws in behind.

A trip map with lettered stops across the Adelaide Hills and an itinerary listing arrival times and durations.

The reveal is what waits there

The story of the place, and often an offer claimable only here and now. Every unlock and redemption is recorded against the stop.

The app home screen showing an unlocked ten per cent offer with a redemption code and a countdown, above a featured venue card.

Three exits from here

A business buying its way onto routes people already play, a place to stay that wants a journey of its own for guests, or a region commissioning the routes themselves. Three different problems and three different commercial models. Take the one that is yours.

Venues & operators

Cafés, restaurants, cellar doors, breweries, attractions, tours and activities, retail worth a detour

  • Be a stop, not a listing. Appear inside journeys people are already playing two streets from your door.
  • Attach an offer that unlocks on arrival, verified by GPS proximity or a QR scan at your counter.
  • No commissions, no per-redemption fees. Published pricing from $29 a month.

Places to stay

Hotels, motels, caravan parks, holiday parks, B&Bs

  • Your own branded journey, 10 to 20 curated local places, exclusive to people staying with you.
  • Win the booking, extend the stay. A trail of things to do turns one night into another night.
  • Nothing for you to run. We curate, write, build and maintain it; you share a link or a QR code.
Right exit

Councils & tourism bodies

Local councils, regional tourism organisations, destination marketing teams

  • Disperse visitors. Route day-trippers past the one famous main street into the towns either side of it.
  • Extend dwell and spend. A curated multi-stop route turns “drove through” into “spent the afternoon”.
  • Report on it. Stop-level visitation, dispersal, redemptions and shares, instrumented end to end.

Built and running, not a pitch deck

These are journeys in the app today, across three South Australian regions. They run on the same mystery, explore and game engines that a partnership is built on.

Journeys run on iOS, Android and in a normal browser, so there is no install barrier for someone who is merely curious. New routes are authored continuously across South Australia.

09.8Legs

You bring local knowledge. We do the rest.

No development project, no content for you to write, no platform to maintain. The mystery, explore and game engines are built and in the field today.

Weeks 1–2

Discovery

We walk your area and agree the priority sites, the stories worth telling, the visitor you are trying to move, and which venues want to be on the route.

Weeks 3–5

Authoring & build

Routes designed, clues and local history written, audio narration scripted, and every stop QA’d on location, because a clue that reads well at a desk can be unsolvable in the street.

Week 6

Launch

Journeys go live across iOS, Android and web. Venue offers activate. You get the co-marketing kit, QR collateral and the analytics dashboard.

Ongoing

Report & refresh

You see what visitors actually did, stop by stop. Content refreshes on schedule, and seasonal or event trails can be added whenever you need one.

12.0Note

Why license it rather than build it

A bespoke app is a multi-year commitment with a maintenance tail attached to it forever. This is the same capability, already working, and shared across a network that makes every journey in it richer.

Proven mechanic, ready now

The engines exist and are in use across three regions. There is no development risk for you to carry, and no procurement of a bespoke app.

A two-sided local network

Every venue partner adds a location, an offer and word of mouth. That value compounds across a region rather than sitting in one council’s asset register.

Your brand is the host

Your region or your venue is the named sponsor and the hero of the journey. Monoloci is the engine underneath, not the logo on the front.

Independent and opinionated

We can ship experiences with personality that a committee-driven build never could, and change them next month when the data says to.

Let’s walk a journey on your patch

Thirty minutes on your own streets. For a region we’ll map three or four priority sites together; for a venue we’ll show you the journeys already running nearby and where you would sit in one.
