Who is it for?
The Monoloci app is for adventurers, explorers and thrill seekers offering a host of Journeys to find and experience attractions, venues, nature, go on a narrated tour or interact with a region via our games. It offers a free trip planner and itinerary calculator for tourists to plan their adventures quick and easy to get exploring sooner.
Users can freely explore the Events and Tours Directory to find their next adventure or festivity.
The app offers so much... possibly too much, but its designed to give tourists and locals alike a reason to download and use it by providing so many experiences and functions in this one SA Experiences app.

What about safety?
The Monoloci app is a safety focused tool that can assist if one finds themselves in an emergency, especially when out and about as a solo tourist in a new location. We built the home screen with a big SOS button which, when pushed, offers options to call 000, or send a text with predefined message to a per-selected contact along with sending a google maps link of your exact location. Having these SOS features easily accessible reduces user friction with enhanced sending times for quick emergency response.

Apart from the SOS function listed above, other features include;
Journeys:
Explore Journeys encourage exploration of selected attractions, nature locations, and F&B outlets.
Rewards Journeys offer rewards for location visitation such as ecommerce discounts and drink coupons at venues.
Mystery Journeys take a mysterious spin on discovery with themed locations being revealed via clues and the route is drawn incrementally. Some MJ's are audio narrated tours.
Game Journeys provide an interactive element to discovery of a region via our Whodunit, Compass and Amazing Race formats
Trip Planner :allows a user to enter destinations and calculate times to get from one place to the next with a google map link and exact times to travel to destination plus it analyses the itinerary and lets you know of any conflicts or when you could spend more time in a given location.

Events Directory: find fun things to do by viewing the event listings.
Group Activities portal: is for paid activities and tours (also used in Game Journeys) where an operator has provided an activity code. This code opens a new mode in the app providing information about the specific activity, including documents essential to the event and allows participants to communicate with each other and the host to share messages and photos.
Share My Journey: creates a link for you to txt or email to a friend or family member with a location journey link where the recipient can follow your journey in google maps in real time.

The app is free for users to download from the play and app stores or use on a web browser. A Premium (paid) upgrade is available for added functions and exclusive content.
