Who is it for?
The Monoloci app offers a free trip planner and literary calculator so tourists can plan and conduct their adventures comfortably and safely. Users can also freely explore the Tour/Activity Directory and discover places to go & things to do with our curated Theme and Mystery Journeys. There is also an Events directory offering even more to explore.
For paid activities and tours an activity code (provided by the operator) is entered opening the Activity Portal to access information, document sharing, group chat and group photo sharing.
For tourism operators, Monoloci offers a modern and efficient way to increase brand awareness, attract visitors and locals to your establishment, promote offers and deals and to share information before and during a tour.

What about safety?
The Monoloci app is a safety focused tool that can assist if one finds themselves in an emergency, especially when out and about as a solo tourist in a new location. We built the home screen with a big SOS button which, when pushed, offers options to call 000, or send a text with predefined message to a per-selected contact along with sending a google maps link of your exact location. Having these SOS features easily accessible reduces user friction with enhanced sending times for quick emergency response.

What are all the app's features?
Apart from the SOS function listed above, other features include;
Share My Journey: creates a link for you to txt or email to a friend or family member with a location journey link where the recipient can follow your journey in google maps in real time.
Sound Scape: opens your phones audio recorder with 1 touch of a prominent button to let the user capture the moment of a location and create a voice diary of how they are feeling, or record the sounds in the landscape for future memories. We always take visual memories, but now we encourage audio memories too.
Trip Planner :allows a user to enter attraction destinations and calculate times to get from one place to the next with a google map link and exact times it will take to travel plus it analyses the itinerary and lets you know of any conflicts or when you could spend more time in a given location.

Is there a cost?
The app is free for users to download from the play and app stores or use on a web browser. A Premium (paid) upgrade is available for added content.
Tourism partners pay a listing fee for their profile which assists us maintain the app, offer support, promotion and to continue innovating.
